What actually keeps your line running is what&amp;rsquo;s happening inside—the spectral output and how you handle the heat.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The balance of power&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Custom UV design is really just a balancing act between wattage and focal length. We set our modules to hit exact irradiance levels across the entire width of your web.&#xA;If you&amp;rsquo;re running a fast line, you need serious wattage density. Otherwise, your substrate moves on before the ink has a chance to fully polymerize. We tweak the electrode spots and the gas fill to shift the peak wavelength. This means the ink cures all the way through, not just a thin, brittle layer on top.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Dealing with the heat&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Here&amp;rsquo;s the thing: high-output lamps get incredibly hot.&#xA;To stop tubes from burning out too early, we use high-purity quartz glass. It lets the UV through while standing up to the stress. But you still need a plan for the heat. We use forced-air cooling or liquid-cooled jackets, but you&amp;rsquo;ve got to make sure your cooling matches your wattage.&#xA;If they don&amp;rsquo;t match? You get thermal stress. Then you get cracked tubes. And nobody wants to deal with that mid-shift. Plus, we can do custom lengths and voltage setups to match whatever power supply you&amp;rsquo;re already using.&#xA;But there is a trade-off.&#xA;When you crank up the UV intensity, you&amp;rsquo;re pumping more heat into your material. You&amp;rsquo;ll need to play with your line speed or maybe throw in a chill roll so your substrate doesn&amp;rsquo;t warp.
